Explanation of Responses:

1. Granted under the Amended and Restated 2007 Equity Incentive Plan, these deferred restricted shares will vest, and the underlying shares will be delivered, on May 14, 2023 subject to the Reporting Person's continued service on the board of directors of Blackstone Inc.

2. Reflects shares withheld to cover the Reporting Person's tax liability in connection with the vesting of deferred restricted shares previously granted to the Reporting Person.
