On March 22, 2011 Rex Energy Corporation (the “Registrant”) made available on its website a press release which provides an operational update for each of its operating regions and a presentation entitled, “Rex Energy DJ Basin Niobrara Play, Tudor Pickering Holt Conference, Denver, Colorado, March 24, 2011.” A copy of the press release and presentation are furnished as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K, which are both incorporated by reference herein.
