BOCA RATON, Fla., May 23, 2010 – Vitacost.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: VITC), a leading online retailer and direct marketer of health and wellness products, announced today, that pursuant to Great Hill Partner's written request by letter addressed to the Company dated May 13, 2010, and in accordance with applicable Delaware law and the Company's bylaws, the Company's Board of Directors at a special meeting thereof convened on May 23, 2010, has established and fixed June 2, 2010 as the record date for holders of the Company's common stock to be eligible to deliver written consents and revocations of consent, respectively, in Great Hill Partners consent solicitation and the Company's revocation of consent solicitation.
