On October 22, 2009, Revett Minerals (“Revett”) issued an aggregate of 3,574,468 shares of its common stock to Small Mines Development, LLC at a price of US$0.15 to satisfy debt payable to Small Mines Development, LLC of US$526,964.79. A copy of the release announcing the Small Mines Development issuance is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1
