On March 9, 2009, Pioneer Natural Resources Company provided an update of certain of its public disclosures, including its open commodity derivative positions as of February 27, 2009. Pioneer Southwest Energy Partners L.P. (the “Partnership”) confirms that, as of February 27, 2009, there had been no change to the Partnership’s commodity derivative positions since February 3, 2009, the date that the Partnership announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2008.
