Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 19, 2023, Vistagen Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) announced the presentation of new data at the 2023 Anxiety and Depression Association of America Conference in Washington, D.C. that further supports the proposed mechanism of action of fasedienol (PH94B), the Company’s rapid-onset investigational pherine nasal spray in Phase 3 development for the treatment of social anxiety disorder. A copy of the press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
