Other Events.
On August 31, 2016, Iao Kun Group Holding Company Limited (the “Company”), a holding company which operates through its subsidiaries and related promotion entities that act as VIP room gaming promoters and a collaborator, closed the VIP gaming room in Sands Cotai Central Casino located in Cotai, Macau, in order to reduce the operating costs of the Company, and terminated its agreement with King's Gaming Promotion Ltd. relating to that facility. As a result, the Company’s VIP room gaming promoters and collaborator currently participate in the promotion of four major luxury VIP gaming facilities in Macau, China.
On September 2, 2016, the Company issued a press release which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
