Item 8.01 Other Events
On September 8, 2016, Emmaus Life Sciences, Inc., issued a press release announcing it has submitted a New Drug Application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requesting U.S. marketing approval for its orally administered pharmaceutical grade L-glutamine (PGLG) treatment for sickle cell disease. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
