Item 8.01. Other Events.
Cole Real Estate Investments, Inc. (NYSE: COLE), formerly known as Cole Credit Property Trust III, Inc., announced today the final results of its modified “Dutch auction” tender offer to purchase for cash up to $250 million in value of its shares of common stock on the terms and subject to the conditions described in its Offer to Purchase dated June 20, 2013, which expired at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on August 8, 2013.
The press release announcing the final results of the tender offer is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
