Item 7.01 – Regulation FD Disclosure
On July 13, 2010, Forbes Energy Services Ltd., or the Company, issued a press release announcing the signing of a settlement agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection with regard to a previously announced gas release incident that occurred on June 3, 2010. As a result of the settlement, the Company’s two workover rigs in Pennsylvania may return to full service. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. The press release is incorporated by reference herein and the foregoing description of the press release is qualified in its entirety by reference to the attached exhibit.
