Orphan Drug Designation
On August 9, 2021, Vitality Biopharma, Inc. (the “Company”) received notification that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (the “FDA”) has granted an Orphan Drug Designation to its glycosylated cannabinoid prodrug VBX-100 for the treatment of pediatric ulcerative colitis.
On August 10, 2021, the Company issued a press release announcing the FDA’s Orphan Drug Designation grant.
