Item 5.02Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Appointment of Certain Officers
On August 26, 2020, following nearly ten years of service with Zynga Inc. (“Zynga”), Jeffrey Buckley announced his intention to resign as our Chief Accounting Officer, effective as of September 15, 2020. Mr. Buckley’s decision is not the result of any disagreement with Zynga. We thank Mr. Buckley for his years of devoted service and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
Following Mr. Buckley’s departure, Gerard Griffin, our Chief Financial Officer, will assume the role of Zynga’s principal accounting officer without change in his compensation arrangements with Zynga. For more information, please see Mr. Griffin’s biographical information in Zynga’s Proxy Statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 6, 2020.
