Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 6, 2017, Steel Partners Holdings L.P. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has submitted a proposal to the independent members of the board of directors of Handy & Harman Ltd. (“HNH”), to acquire all of the outstanding shares of common stock of HNH not owned by the Company or its subsidiaries.
A copy of the full press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K.
