Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 23, 2010, Government Properties Income Trust, or the Company, issued a press release announcing that it has amended its $250 million secured revolving credit facility, or the Credit Facility, to eliminate a provision in the definition of Eurodollar Rate, or LIBOR Rate, that establishes a minimum LIBOR Rate of 2.0%. A copy of the Company’s press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
The foregoing description of the amendment to the Credit Facility is not complete and is subject to and qualified in its entirety by reference to the amendment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated herein by reference.
