On April 5, 2017, Vantage Drilling International issued a press release announcing that its subsidiary, Vantage Drilling Africa, has acquired the jackup drilling unitHercules 260 from Hercules International Drilling, Ltd., a subsidiary of Hercules Offshore, Inc. and has renamed the rig theVantage 260.
