Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On May 13, 2022, Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the resignation of Lisa Meyer as President, Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Treasurer of the Company, effective June 10, 2022. Ms. Meyer’s decision to resign is due to personal reasons and she has not expressed any disagreement with the Company on any matters relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices. A formal search is underway by the Company for Ms. Meyer’s successor. Ms. Meyer will remain with the Company through her resignation date to assist with the transition.
