On September 26, 2011, Richard Saltzman, the Chief Executive Officer of Colony Financial, Inc. (the “Company”), will be presenting at the JMP Securities Financial Services and Real Estate Conference. Mr. Saltzman’s presentation will take place at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET on September 26, 2011 at The St. Regis New York, New York. The presentation will be webcast live on the Internet in the Investor Relations section of the Company’s Web site at www.colonyfinancial.com. The webcast will also be archived and available on the Web site for 90 days.
A copy of the presentation materials to be used by Mr. Saltzman are attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and are incorporated herein solely for purposes of this Item 7.01 disclosure.
