Team Livongo,
As we start our journey together, I want to thank you for all you have done to improve health and change care for the better. The way you’ve delivered on your mission of empowering people with chronic conditions to live better and healthier lives has been awe inspiring. Livongo is in a league of its own and is a world-class innovator I have deeply admired for quite some time. Simply put, I am one of your biggest fans. I am excited for the chance to work side-by-side to build our shared vision for a new standard of care.
Our merger will create a firmly established global leader in consumer-centered virtual care and provide a unique opportunity to further accelerate the growth of a data-driven consumer platform and experience. Together, we will unlock the full potential of virtual care from preventive care to the most complex cases, bringing ‘whole person’ health to consumers and greater value to our clients, both here in the US and around the world. By expanding the reach of Livongo’s innovative Applied Health Signals platform and building on Teladoc Health’s global end-to-end virtual care platform, we’ll empower more people to live better and healthier lives faster than either of us could have done alone. Our combined mission and joint passion for making healthcare accessible to millions of people makes me very excited to welcome you to the Teladoc Health Team.
The world, and most importantly the people we serve, are waiting for us to join forces and usher in a new era of healthcare transformation. Right now, the most important thing is for all of us to continue the important work we have been doing and delivering for our Members. It is business as usual at Teladoc Health and Livongo, helping people live better and healthier lives. As I recently shared with the Teladoc Health Team, I would ask each of you to remember that it is imperative that we continue to live our values, keep our promises, and deliver on our commitments to all stakeholders, from clients to Members to each other. As I know you like to say, this is the most important quarter we’ve ever had!
The Teladoc Health Team worldwide was thrilled to hear from Jenny, and learn more about Livongo, your mission and your culture during the Teladoc Health Town Hall yesterday. And I look forward to spending some time with all of you this Thursday at the Livongo Town Hall.
Together we are going to do great things, further transforming the healthcare experience, one Member at a time.
All my best,
Jason
