On October 25, 2016, Capital Bank Financial Corp. (“Capital Bank Financial”) and CommunityOne Bancorp (“CommunityOne”) issued a press release announcing the preliminary results of the elections made by CommunityOne shareholders regarding their preferences as to the form of merger consideration they wish to receive in connection with the pending merger between CommunityOne and Capital Bank Financial.
