On December 26, 2023, we filed a Current Report on Form 8-K reporting, among other things, that the contract (the "Contract") to purchase a multi-family property located in Richmond, VA. for a purchase price of approximately $62.5 million, had terminated, that we requested the return of our approximate $1.3 million down payment, and that the seller countered that we had defaulted under the contract and was blocking the return of the down payment.
On January 12, 2024, we and the seller executed mutual releases, releasing each other from any liability arising with respect to the Contract, and the down payment was returned to us.
