Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 18, 2014, a certificate of name change was issued by the Registrar of Corporate Affairs of the British Virgin Islands changing the name of the registrant, formerly known as Tianli Agritech, Inc., to Aoxin Tianli Group, Inc. Under the laws of the British Virgin Islands and the Amended and Restated Articles and Memorandum of Association of the registrant shareholder approval is not required to change the corporate name of the registrant. The registrant also has made application to Nasdaq to change its ticker symbol from OINK to ABAC.
