Item 8.01 Other Events
Imperial Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) has been informed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire that its chairman and chief executive officer, Antony Mitchell, is not a target of the previously disclosed government investigation of the Company and certain of its employees. Additionally, the Company has begun the process of transitioning its commercial banking activities from SunTrust Bank to another large national financial institution.
