On May 16, 2014, we issued a press release which was widely distributed via a paid newswire service to media outlets across the United States, including major magazines, newspapers, television, radio and news services in every state, and to more than 5,000 Web sites, databases and online services, notifying our customers of a data security breach which occurred in the system which processes credit card and debit card transactions at our properties. The press release, which we also posted on our website at www.affinitygaming.com, encouraged our customers to take steps to protect their identities and financial information, and provided them with a confidential, toll-free hotline for assistance. We have attached a copy of the press release, which is incorporated herein by reference, as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
