As previously announced, FS Specialty Lending Fund (the “Company”) notified its shareholders of its intent to transition from an investment policy of investing primarily in energy and power-related companies to a diversified credit investment policy of investing across private and public credit in a broader set of industries, sectors and sub-sectors. The new policy became effective in September 2023, and the Company’s allocation to energy and power-related investments is expected to decline over time.
In connection with the change to the Company’s investment policy, as described above, on February 12, 2024, R. Blair Thomas notified the Company’s board of trustees that he is resigning as a member of the board of trustees of the Company and any committees thereof effective February 19, 2024. His resignation is not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
