Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(b) On February 12, 2016, Hans P. Hull, Senior Vice President, Business Operations of Avalanche Biotechnologies, Inc. (the “Company”), provided notice of his resignation from the Company, effective immediately, to pursue a new career opportunity. The Company and Mr. Hull entered into a consulting agreement under which Mr. Hull will provide certain transition consulting services to the Company for one year. In consideration for such services, Mr. Hull will receive certain separation benefits and continued vesting of his outstanding equity awards while he is providing such consulting services.
