Marathon Petroleum Corporation (the “Company”) previously reported that Raymond L. Brooks, Executive Vice President, Refining notified the Company of his intention to retire effective September 9, 2022. Mr. Brooks’ retirement date has been extended two weeks to September 23, 2022.
On August 22, 2022, the Company announced the appointment of Timothy J. Aydt as Executive Vice President, Refining, effective September 1, 2022. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Aydt has served since August 2020 as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of MPLX GP LLC, the general partner of MPLX LP and an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. Effective September 1, 2022, Mr. Aydt will no longer serve as an executive officer of MPLX GP LLC. In his new role, Mr. Aydt will succeed Mr. Brooks.
