Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 22, 2016, Performance Sports Group (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K announcing that it set August 19, 2016 and October 5, 2016 as the respective record and meeting dates for its annual and special meeting of shareholders (the “2016 Annual Meeting”). The Company will postpone the 2016 Annual Meeting. New record and meeting dates have not been determined and will be set once the Company is in a position to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K and definitive proxy statement. A copy of the cancelled Notice of Record and Meeting Date, previously filed on July 22, 2016, is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this item.
