Black Elk Energy Offshore Operations, LLC (the “Company”) was unable to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended September 30, 2014 by November 14, 2014, without unreasonable effort or expense because we recently downsized operations and staffing. Despite having engaged outside consultants to assist in the process, we have been unable to complete our preparation and review of the financial statements in the allotted time frame.
