Explanatory Note
Controladora Vuela Compañía de Aviación, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Volaris”) is furnishing this current report on Form 6-K/A (this “Form 6-K/A”) in order to amend and restate its current report on Form 6-K, dated October 13, 2021 (the “Original 6-K”), solely to correct a typographical error in the Original 6-K whereby Volaris reported the interest rate on its recent issuance of asset backed trust notes as TIIE + two hundred (200) percentage points, when it should have said TIIE + two hundred (200) basis points.
