On June 6, 2018, Lantheus Medical Imaging, Inc. (“LMI”), the operating subsidiary of Lantheus Holdings, Inc., received notice from NTP Radioisotopes (SOC) Ltd. (“NTP”) that it has instituted a temporary suspension of production operations at itsmolybdenum-99(“Mo-99”) processing facility in South Africa following a minor transgression of an Operating Technical Specification Limit during a recentMo-99 production run. NTP’s resumption of operations will depend on the approval by the South African Nuclear Regulator of NTP’s remediation efforts. As it has in similar situations in the past, LMI will work to source additionalMo-99 from its other suppliers, Institute for Radioelements in Belgium and ANSTO in Australia, during NTP’s current suspension of operations. Management is not changing its financial guidance at this time.
