Item 8.01. Other Events.
On August 26, 2015 the Board of Directors of West End Indiana Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) declared a cash dividend on the Company’s common stock of $0.06 per share. The dividend will be payable to stockholders of record as of September 11, 2015 and is expected to be paid on or about September 25, 2015.
A copy of the press release dated August 28, 2015 giving details associated with the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99 to this report.
