Explanation of Responses:

1. Each restricted stock unit ("RSU") is the economic equivalent of one share of Eastside Distilling, Inc. common stock. The closing price of EAST on the March 31, 2019 vesting date was $5.81.

2. On October 15, 2018, the Reporting Person was awarded $20,000 of RSUs, which vest in four quarterly installments beginning on December 31, 2018 and continuing thereafter the last day of each quarter through and including September 30, 2019, subject to continued service with the Issuer on each respective vesting date.
