Mr. Joseph Piekenbrock ceased to be an officer of the Company effective August 15, 2014. The departure of Mr. Piekenbrock was as a result of cost reductions and not due to any disagreement with the Registrant.

On April 15, 2014, NovaCopper Inc. issued a press release to provide an update on its current corporate and exploration activities. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
