1. The sales reported in this Form 4 were effected pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted by the Reporting Person on August 15, 2016.

2. The price reported in Column 4 is a weighted average price. These units were sold in multiple transactions at prices ranging from $33.79 to $34.175, inclusive. The Reporting Person undertakes to provide to MPLX LP, any security holder of MPLX LP, or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of units sold at each separate price within the range set forth in footnote (2) to this Form 4.

Remarks:

The Reporting Person is the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer - MarkWest Assets of MPLX GP LLC, the general partner of the Issuer. The Issuer is managed by the directors and executive officers of MPLX GP LLC.
