On January 4, 2017, the Board of Directors of Emerge Energy Services GP LLC (the “General Partner”), the general partner of Emerge Energy Services LP (the “Partnership”), approved a discretionary cash performance bonus to Rick Shearer, the Chief Executive Officer of the General Partner, in an amount of $50,000 in recognition of the performance of the Partnership and its affiliates during the fiscal year ended December 31, 2016.
