Ignyta Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock
San Diego, June 10, 2015— Ignyta, Inc. (Nasdaq: RXDX) (“Ignyta”), a precision oncology biotechnology company, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 4,285,714 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $17.50 per share. The gross proceeds from this offering are expected to be approximately $75.0 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by Ignyta. Ignyta has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 642,857 shares of common stock in connection with the offering. The offering is expected to close on or about June 16, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions.
Ignyta anticipates using the net proceeds from the offering to fund research and development activities for its development programs and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
