First wind assets acquired by Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC
On December 8, 2015, Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC (the “Company”), through a wholly-owned subsidiary - Greenbacker Wind LLC, announced that it acquired a total of 10.0 Megawatts of operating wind power facilities, using 6 turbines, located in Teton County, Montana (“Fairfield Wind Farm”), for a purchase price of approximately $6,615,000 plus assumed project level debt of approximately $12,412,000.
A copy of the press release relating to the acquisition of Fairfield Wind Farm is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by this reference.
