Item 8.01. Other Events.
On July 24, 2019, SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that, effective as of August 19, 2019 Sharon (Sherri) Nadeau will join the Company as its Chief Human Resources Officer.
Ms. Nadeau 57, comes to SeaWorld Entertainment from Cerberus, Inc., where she was a Senior Advisor for Cerberus Capital Management, L.P and Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company since 2016. In this role, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer, FirstKey Homes and Chief Human Resources Officer, YP (“Yellow Pages”), each of which were Cerberus Portfolio Companies. She has also served as Senior Vice President HR North America & Europe, Middle East and Africa at First Advantage Corporation from 2014 - 2016 and Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Connexity, Inc. / Shopzilla from 2012 - 2014. Ms. Nadeau also served in a variety of senior human resources and organizational development roles for companies including Sony Pictures Entertainment and Universal Studios / Universal Studios Japan. Ms. Nadeau is a graduate of Liberty University (BS, Accounting) and the University of Virginia (MS, Tax).
