Item 8.01 Other Events
On January 9, 2017, xG Technology, Inc. (the “Company”) received a letterfrom the staff of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) statingthat the Nasdaq staff determined that the Company regained compliance withthe Nasdaq Capital Market minimum bid price requirement for continued listing set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) (the “Nasdaq Listing Requirement”).
On January 10, 2017, the Company issued a press release with respect to regaining compliance with the Nasdaq Listing Requirement, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
