Item 8.01. Other Events.
On July 1, 2014 Strategic Environmental & Energy Resources, Inc ("the Company or SEER") announced that that its MV Technologies, LLC (MV) subsidiary received a $799,000 contract for an installation of its OdorFilter™ System to control process gases at a large asphalt handling facility in the western U.S. The full text of the press release issued in connection with the announcement is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
