BAKER TENDER OFFER TO COMMENCE ON SEPTEMBER 9
PITTSBURGH – Michael Baker Corporation (“Baker”) (NYSE MKT:BKR) and Integrated Mission Solutions, LLC (“IMS”), an affiliate of DC Capital Partners LLC, have agreed that the commencement date of the tender offer for all of Baker’s outstanding common shares will be Monday, September 9, 2013. If the tender offer commences on September 9, it will expire at the end of the day on October 7, 2013, unless the expiration date is extended.

This news release is not an offer to purchase or a solicitation of an offer to sell securities of Baker. The planned tender offer for all of Baker’s outstanding common shares has not been commenced. On commencement of the tender offer, IMS will mail to Baker’s shareholders an offer to purchase and related materials and Baker will mail to its shareholders a recommendation statement with respect to the tender offer.
