Significant Accounting Policies [Text Block]	Note 2 The accompanying consolidated financial statements of the Company included herein were prepared in accordance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP"). The consolidated financial statements reflect all adjustments which are, in the opinion of management, necessary to a fair statement of the results for the periods presented. These adjustments are considered to be of a normal, recurring nature. Principles of Consolidation and Basis of Presentation The accompanying consolidated financial statements include the accounts of the Company and its subsidiaries. All inter-company accounts and transactions have been eliminated in consolidation. In determining whether the Company has a controlling financial interest in a joint venture and the requirement to consolidate the accounts of that entity, management considers factors such as percentage ownership interest, authority to make decisions and contractual and substantive participating rights of the other partners or members as well as whether the entity is a variable interest entity for which the Company is the primary beneficiary. Certain amounts in prior periods have been reclassified in order to conform to current period presentation, specifically, the Company changed the presentation of its Consolidated Statements of Operations and Comprehensive Income (Loss) with respect to "Gain (loss) on sale of assets." The change in presentation was to reclassify this line item so that it is included as a component of Operating income (loss) and represented as a separate line item, rather than as a component of "Other income." The Company made this change in presentation for all periods presented. Use of Estimates The preparation of the accompanying consolidated Real Estate Investments The Company allocates the purchase price of properties acquired in real estate investments to tangible and identifiable intangible assets acquired based on their respective fair values at the date of acquisition. Tangible assets include land, land improvements, buildings and furniture, fixtures and equipment. The Company utilizes various estimates, processes and information to determine the property value. Estimates of value are made using customary methods, including data from appraisals, comparable sales, discounted cash flow analysis and other methods.
