Item 8.01 Other Events
On December 8, 2015, ContraVir Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing positive results regarding CMX157’s significantly enhanced potency against hepatitis B virus (HBV), now determined to be 97-fold compared to tenofovir (TFV), based on state-of-the-art in vitro studies. The data was presented on December 7, 2015 at HEP DART 2015 held at the Grand Wailea in Wailea, Hawaii.
