Item 8.01. Other Events
On August 26, 2016, the Board of Directors of Gyrodyne, LLC, a New York limited liability company (the “Company”), approved a special cash dividend on the Company’s common shares of limited liability company interests of $1.50 per share, payable September 15, 2016 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 9, 2015. The special dividend consists of proceeds from the recently consummated sale of three additional buildings in the Port Jefferson Professional Park.
