Item 8.01 Other Information.
White River Energy Corp (the “Company”) is filing this Current Report on Form 8-K to inform the investing public that it has not changed its name, and that the Company’s name remains “White River Energy Corp”. On April 5, 2024, the Company filed a Current Report on Form 8-K to disclose an acquisition in which Truuli Environmental Inc. merged with WRG Merger Sub Inc., an indirect subsidiary of the Company. Following that disclosure, it came to the Company’s attention through numerous communications from investors that certain investment news websites, including Yahoo Finance and Apple Stocks, had begun errantly listing the Company’s name on their platforms as “Truuli Environmental Inc.” In fact, Truuli Environmental Inc. became an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of White River Energy Corp as a result of the merger, and White River Energy Corp’s corporate name was unaffected by that transaction.
