On February 24, 2021, Meridian Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per common share. The dividend will be payable on April 1, 2021 to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 18, 2021. On February 24, 2021, the Company also announced that it has adopted a new stock repurchase program for up to 1,000,000 shares, or approximately 1.9% of its outstanding common stock. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99 to this report.
