We are excited to announce that Nexeo Solutions has agreed to be acquired by Univar Inc. Univar is a global chemical and ingredient distributor and provider of value-added services.

The transaction with Univar is anticipated to close in the first half of 2019, subject to regulatory approvals. In the meantime, it is business as usual at Nexeo—and you should expect no changes to our relationship or the way we serve you.
Univar intends to conduct a comprehensive strategic review of our plastics business to determine how best to maximize its potential. Under Univar ownership, I will continue to lead the plastics business.
