Explanatory Note
On August 18, 2021, Evoqua Water Technologies Corp. (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the “Initial 8-K”) disclosing the election of Sherrese Clarke Soares to the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”), effective August 16, 2021. At the time of filing the Initial 8-K, the Board had not made a final determination regarding the committee(s) of the Board, if any, to which Ms. Clarke Soares would be appointed. This Amendment No. 1 to the Initial 8-K is being filed solely to supplement Item 5.02 of the Initial 8-K to disclose the appointment of Ms. Clarke Soares to the Audit Committee of the Board. This Amendment No. 1 does not otherwise amend, update or change any disclosure included in the Initial 8-K.

On December 1, 2021, the Board appointed Sherrese Clarke Soares to the Audit Committee of the Board, effective immediately.
