Explanation of Responses:

1. Shares were surrendered for taxes in connection with vesting of Restricted Stock Units granted March 1, 2023.

2. Restricted Stock Units granted on March 1, 2024, pursuant to the Amended & Restated 2017 Viad Corp Omnibus Incentive Plan, and 1,620 units of which will vest in three equal tranches on each of March 1, 2025, March 1, 2026, and March 1, 2027, and 9,452 units of which will vest on March 1, 2026.

3. Between February 2024 and March 2024, the reporting person acquired 15.2387 shares of VVI common stock under the Viad Corp 401(k) plan.
