Investment
On March, 2017, Atento S.A. (“Atento”) entered into an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Interfile, a leading provider of credit origination BPO Services in Brazil. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approval. With this acquisition, Atento will be able to expand its capabilities in the financial services segment, especially in credit origination, and strengthen its leadership position in the Brazilian and Latam market.
On March, 2017 the Company also issued a press release announcing the acquisition, a copy of which is filed as Exhibit [99.1] to this Report.
